BEA Breakfast Meeting - The Business of Doing International Business

With Bryan Pray (FoxDog Productions), Karina Kedo (Scottish Development International), Chie Nicholson (Bannockburn Global Forex, LLC)

Bryan Pray - I love telling stories. I've been doing it for over 20 years in one form or another. I believe discovering, distilling, and telling the brand story is incredibly important. After almost a decade as an executive producer and VP of Production for agencies such as Live Marketing and Jack Morton Worldwide, I founded FoxDog Production Consultants with the motto: “Think like a fox.  Work like a dog.”  I brought my skills in production, creative concepting, experiential events, and storytelling into the corporate world to help companies find ways to better represent who they are and why their consumer should pay attention.  FoxDog Production Consultants represent dozens of Fortune 100 brands and specializes in creative concepting and production management of large scale events and integrated marketing programs.

Karina Kedo - As the economic development arm of the Scottish government with offices in 20 countries, Scottish Development International (SDI) supports inward investment and trade between Scottish companies and foreign entities. In her role, Karina supports the Technology and Advanced Engineering sector in North America promoting Scotland as an ideal location for foreign direct investment in this industry. She has also worked in the Financial and Business Services sector, covering shared services and global business services, as well as the Creative Industries, focusing on animation, audio and game development. Prior to SDI, Karina worked in the international development space. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from Northwestern University.

Chie Nicholson - I am with Bannockburn Global Forex, LLC, a boutique foreign exchange trading and advisory firm specializing in currency advisory and payment services. Our firm is purely client-oriented and our basic model is to combine expert counsel and pre-trade analytics with low-cost execution. Our focus is on the mid-market segment; however we can help any size business. Bannockburn brings clarity and transparency to the currency markets, and we are confident we deliver better service, find better times in the market to trade, and provide a cost savings compared to our large bank counterparts. Prior to Bannockburn,I was with Fifth Third Bank for 20 years on their FX Trading Desk.  I attended Northern Kentucky University with a B.A. in international business.
