BEACON Newsletters and Bulletins are managed and viewed from the same module. Based on the menu selected, one of the two following screens are displayed.

To view either a BEACON Newsletter or a Bulletin, click on the desired issue. The issues are saved in Adobe's PDF format and require a PDF viewer in order to open and view them. A free viewer may be obtained from http://www.abobe.com. The PDF view presents the issues in windows similar to the following:

The PDF viewer provides a navigation bar that allows the user to manipulate the image.

The Administrator manages the BEACON Newsletters and Bulletins from the same menu option. When opened by an Administrator, the following additional items are displayed (Note that only the Bulletins screen is shown, BEACON Newsletters looks similar).

The 'Refresh' button is used to update the list after an issues has been added, the displayed information edited, or the issue has been deleted. To edit an issue, click on the 'Edit' button next to the desired issue. To add an issue, click on the 'Add Bulletin' or 'Add Beacon' buttons as appropriate.
BEACON Newsletters and Bulletins are added and edited using the same screen. Note that the file name will not appear if an issue has already been uploaded. Click on the 'Browse' button to select a file to be uploaded as a new copy of an issue. Complete the desired fields and click on the 'Add', 'Edit', or 'Delete' buttons as appropriate.
